In a world that demands audacious abundance, Ifetayo Advisors invites you to hold the challenges of our material reality with the possibility for a better tomorrow. Ifetayo Advisors supports individuals, teams, and organizations through advising, gathering, and building.

about Ifetayo ADvisors
Ifetayo Advisors is a consulting practice rooted in collaboration, imagination, and the belief that we contain multitudes.
This work emerges at the intersections—where environmental health meets social justice, where data meets somatics, where grief dances with joy. Ifetayo Advisors holds space for the challenges of our material reality and the possibility of a better tomorrow, helping individuals, teams, and organizations translate their deepest values into methodical, imaginative strategies for long-term impact.
The approach draws from intuitive decision-making, careful exploration of data, and the wisdom of natural ecosystems. Guided by principles of Kujichagulia (self-determination) and Ujima (collective work and responsibility), the practice helps you identify your patterns, pull together your multitudes, and plan a way forward that honors both alignment and transformation.

Ogonnaya Dotson Newman
Patternist, traveler, dreamer, joy doula, driving energy of ifetayo advisors
Ogonnaya Dotson Newman founded Ifetayo Advisors after over 25 years working at the intersections of environmental health, social justice, and community empowerment. As a creative entrepreneur, joy/grief doula, advocate, and grantmaker, she supports organizations and individuals through intuitive decision-making with careful attention to both data and culture.
Most recently, Ogonnaya served as a senior program officer at The JPB Foundation (now Freedom Together Foundation), leading a portfolio focused on detoxifying natural systems and eliminating indoor and outdoor pollutants. She brought decades of experience in community-based participatory research and environmental justice organizing to that work.
She holds a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Environmental Health and currently serves on the advisory board of Counterstream and the boards of the Strozzi Institute for Somatics and the Environmental Grantmakers Association. She's an auntie/hype lady, avid traveler, and patternist whose curiosity drives her exploration of the world. Her work invites others to reflect, release, rejoice, and flow with the shifting tapestries of life.
